Sleep Apnea Masks Are Smaller And More Portable Now

Sleep apnea masks are made with the purpose to help sleep apnea patient to breathe throughout the night. Since the airway is narrowed or blocked during sleeping, he may wakes up hundreds of times during their normal sleep period. Sleep apnea masks are part of the Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP). It is designed to provide continuous air to help stop them from waking up just to breathe.

Now, they can pack it in their suitcase and rest on a table beside the bed in the hotel or in a friend’s home.

Dental Devices as the Alternative

Besides Continuous Positive Air Pressure, dental devices are also available as the alternative. It is also worn during the sleep to keep the airway open. Although these devices may be just as uncomfortable as the sleep apnea masks, but when they can wake up refreshed in the morning without a sore throat from snoring and with their bedmate in a better mood, they agree it is a good alternative.
